A masterpiece, sculpted by time.
Founded in 1779, Bowmore is one of the oldest whisky distilleries in Scotland. The brief from Beam Suntory was to develop a ‘key visual’ for a global ad campaign that would hero their unique legacy and premiumise their core range of single malt scotch whiskies. As the project progressed, it became much more.

Beam Suntory came to us with the idea of Bowmore being a work of art. I helped them distil their idea down to one key line - ‘The art of time since 1779’.
With the campaign positioning in place, I went with a photography and film team to capture the essence of Bowmore. Detailing its beautifully distinct landscape and distillery.

Rough to smooth: the timeless textures of Islay and Bowmore became a palette for the whole campaign.

Below: to help premiumise the campaign, a new font was selected to add a contemporary edge.

The campaign was rolled out globally to travel retail environments, drinks literature, brand experiences, POS and digital marketing channels.
